NBA: Joffrey Lauvergne signs with the Spurs

The Spurs officially announced the arrival of Joffrey Lauvergne last Tuesday.

The center of the French team comes out of a difficult exercise, split between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Chicago Bulls, even though he compiled 5.4 points and 3.6 rebounds in just 14 minutes from Play on the whole of the season. Besides Tony Parker, he will rejoin his former Partizan Belgrade team-mate Davis Bertans in San Antonio.

If his role is not yet well defined, it incorporates a limited internal rotation since the departures of David Lee and Dewayne Dedmon. Only LaMarcus Aldridge is currently under contract as a real interior, while Pau Gasol should soon join him. Bertans is also used exclusively in position 4, while Kawhi Leonard, Rudy Gay and Kyle Anderson will probably play in this position from time to time, but Joffrey Lauvergne has a real chance to get time with his fighter profile capable of Navigate between stations 4 and 5.
